Taylor began her YouTube career with a simple ASMR video using her smartphone. Shortly after hitting 50,000 subscribers within a month of posting her first video she was featured in a gaming video by PewDiePie. Taylor stopped working in her Youtube channel after two months. There were close to 100,000 subscribers. It was due to technical issues and the fact that she felt overwhelmed. The channel began to produce videos following the break of one month. This included the extremely famous ASMR Ten Triggers to Help You Sleep. (35,000,000 views as of august 2022). ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping was released in July 2017 and has since been watched by 38 million people. In August 2017, she was interviewed in Shane Dawson's video and shortly thereafter, was able to reach one million YouTube users. In February, Wired UK estimated that she was earning $1,000 per day from advertising revenue from her YouTube channel

Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her parents are of German, English and Swedish descendance. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler situated in Alberta. Together with the help of her sisters Trena Tammy Tara and Tammy Tara, she lived and worked at the family grain farm. When she was 17, The agent from her modeling agency noticed her waiting in line at a theater.
